Sores!

Help me! I have sores on the roof of my mouth! I don't know why I am getting them. Maybe I am deficient in some nutrient or another.
Does anyone know the cause of this? Remedies (besides swishing with salt water . . . gross)?
Could it be a form of detox?

Canker Sores? Kiss anyone recently or does anyone in your family have / get cold sores? I never had canker sores or cold sores before I started dating this girl last year and now I get them every few months. I believe raw will cure this in me.

Canker Sores and Cold Sores are part of the herpes simplex A family which about 80 of people have and might not know it. Could be your body trying to push it out.

If it was me I would expect it was an old captain crunch injury from childhood. (LOL) But detox is probably a good guess. Either salt water or coconut oil - oil pulling would be good. Or mangosteen juice swish.

I don't think that it's herpes simplex A because I always get my cold sores on the same spot on my lip, not on the roof of my mouth.
The first week I went raw I had the worst cold sore EVER. I haven't had any since then.
These feel like the kind of sores I used to get before I went raw when I didn't have enough fruits/vegges. Lack of vitamin C.
I certaintly get a TON of vitamin C now, so I'm not sure what the deal is.
IF there is an underlying deficiency in something that is causing these sores, I would like to know what it is so I can fix it.
