I don't have any plans to make almond milk in the near future--but the recipes on the other hand that need the almond leftovers sound so yummy.
Is there a sub preparation method to get it ready for a recipe.

You can simply grind almonds into flour. Even better would be to soak the almonds (about 8 hours), drain and then put into the dehydrator to dry and then grind into flour...but if you do not have a dehydrator or if in a pinch for time...just grind them up in a coffee grinder or Vitamix, etc...whatever you use to grind nuts and seeds and you should be good to go! Try to grind them as fine as you can rather than coarsely ground if possible.
