Oil pulling is an ancient Ayurvedic healing technique - called kavalagraham.

You take anywhere from a tablespoon to a teaspoon of sesame oil and swish and sucking it thru your teeth and gums for approximately 20 minutes.(NEVER SWALLOWING IT). When you spit out the oil you will see it has turned white - this shows that it has pulled toxins, germs etc out of your system. That's why you don't want to swallow it - cuz its full of toxins.

It is a daily hygeine habit which is both preventitive AND curative of DISeases pertaining to the teeth, gums, and various OTHER DISeases. Some say it is also an old Russian folk remedy to help cure various DISeases.

Some of the oils used are sesame, sunflower oil, and coconut oil.

Reported healings have included:
asthma
allergies
Insomnia
Migraine headaches
bronchitis
diseases of teeth and gums
thrombosis
ECZEMA
encephalitis
ulcers
stomach and intestinal disorders
gastro enteritis
peritonitis
DISeases of the heart, kidney, liver and lungs
chronic blood disorders like leukemia
arthritis adn related illnesses
Neuro-physiological paralysis
menngitis
women's hormonal disorders
and.... varicos veins!!!!

yep - heals a bunch of stuff... PLUS MAKES your teeth really white. There are many threads on it here on RFT... but I would also suggest you google it - do some research --- it really works wonders on skin and other ailments...
