WOW

She's at home waiting, GAIA, my new VITAMIX 5200.:D

I'm so stoked I don't know what to make first.
One thing for sure is that I am out of excuses, as far as fueling my body with live foods and getting healthy goes!!!

THIS NEW THREAD MARKS POST #2000 FOR ME!!!

Wow I've been hanging out with you folks nearly two years and 2000 post later I'm finally getting things right. Feeling like RAW is going to be sustainable for me for a long season to come.

Just today I was reminded of another one of the reasons I eat, when not hungry. Physical pain! My leg was feeling achey and I just wanted to go sit somewhere and eat something warm and salty followed by a cold caffeinated drink to pump me up. But I didn't do it!!! I'm pressing through the pain, drinking water and staring at an orange that I'll eat in a few minutes instead.

I'm so grateful that I've finally ordered and received my Vitamixer. I've longed for this for 10years, every since a demo at a public health conference in Chicago. Why did I deny myself this purchase for 10 years. Why did I not thinkI was worth it, deserved it, needed it?????

So to you new RAWBIEnites, hang in there. Do this thing one bite at a time. Be sure your thoughts about life and yourself are as pure if not purer than the food you ingest. BE conscious of the Why for being RAW, be above the societal pressure and the capitalistic ignorance and take care of YOU.
Choose to live your best life ever by beginning with the best food/ fuel your money can buy. Continue to nourish you soul on this journey and cherish those that cherish you. Know that real friends are the family you get to choose.

Thank you RAWCYBER FAMILY, For always being a point and click away!!!

I just HAD to share this with you! There would have been more on the floor but my then two year old was standing right THERE and took the brunt of the mess.

This is a right of passage for all VM users. And yes the ceiling is scarred too. Congratulation on 2000 posts and you new toy!

Ok got in late last night. took GAIA out the box, stared in awww and then went to sleep.;)

Sent hubby to the store this AM for 6 bunches of bananas and a bag of apples.

Made a divinely silky smooth banana apple abd ice smoothie for breakfast.

Yup that's it, first big creation with my 1/2 a grand appliance:eek: $$$$

Anyway I'm still thrilled, just don't know what to make first.

Definately planning for cashew banana ice cream tonight and some sort of soup.:p MAybe even a honey garlic dressing for my noon day salad.

I've never regretted buying my vitamix. Although mine was more like 375.00.....even at that I still walked out of the store and then told myself just do it, so I walked back in and bought it and have never regretted.

I still love GAIA, really
thru both SAD and RAW days she has been a faithful and reliable friend like no other

definately more sturdy than my cracked Zeus that excalibur won't repair
cause the warranty didn't cover the plastic box part.
