Hi all,

Last night I was sooooooo excited to see a commercial on a major TV channel during prime time that actually stated that a vegan diet prevented cancer and that children should be fed more vegetarian meals!!! It was done by cancerproject.org. I think I know who I will be donating some money to soon! They showed pics of yummy looking vegetarian meals that were bright and colorful. It was awesome!

It is a start!!!

Good news on TV for once!

Blessings!

I can't wait to see it. I know my kids will cheer. They are not all raw but they love to share with me. They love their smooties green and love the reaction from their friends when they say "My mommy makes us smoothies with spinach in them." lol

One commercial but with a great message! I know how the many believe what they see on tv, so if it helps just a few to think, it could very well be the start of something really really wonderful. :) :) :)

Thats good to hear! I hope I see that one soon. However, when I was watching tv the other day, I saw a commercial that pretty much promoted a powdered orange drink over actual oranges, saying that you get more vitamin C per volume. I interpreted it as "dont eat oranges, drink this instead". How SAD!

I haven't seen the commercial. I probably won't since I don't have a TV, but I poked around their website some, and found this too:

and

This makes me really happy to be eating a vegetarian diet.
Thanks for sharing the news!

I wonder if they include copper in that powder to offset the copper that is not in the vitamin C they put in there?! I was just watching a video of a David Wolfe seminar and he was talking about how they have found that people who get a lot of there vitamin C from supplements tend to be deficient in copper which is a component of naturally occuring vitamin C.
