Fasting and Cold

When I was fasting yesterday I couldn't stay warm. Does anyone else have this problem? I was so cold. I had extra layers on. What would help? Besides staying in bed all day:). Couldn't do that with my kids around.

I am fasting as well and sometimes get really cold, it is summer here and I had on track pants two jumpers and was wrapped in a blanket! I think the only thing to do is have baths or showers when you can and wear lots of layers, sorry I don't have any amazing suggestions!:p

Actually, spring is time for cleaning.

Rounds of hot and cold showers may help; Conscious MOVEMENT!

I'm the same way when i am fasting. If the air temp is under 85 I'm FREEZING! :p I sit on the sun porch and even wrap in blankets. 2 winters ago I wore so many clothes that I could barely move and sat by the woodstove.:eek:

i stay warm w/ 5 blankies & 2 dogs (one is extra furry). ;)

besides that, when i'm out, i try to tough it out. sometimes it is hard, & i just want to reach for those comfort foods. i know i will 1) be knocked out of the cold, b/c i'd be so sleepy & 2) food brings me warmth. to combat those though, i exercise. i know we should rest while fasting, but for me, i find that the exercise is really necessary.
