Hi I'm from Colorado, I am 39 with two children and am a stay at home mom.
Trying raw again. Had started 2006. Lost 20 pounds. But haven't lost any more.
Depending on the day I can eat 100% raw, but other days I only eat 50% raw. I know the benefits of eating all raw but it is so hard. So hard to stay away form pizza, nachos.
I started today with doing a fast of just lemon water. Will see how many days I can go. I may add a juice fast.
So with the new year I am cleaning out the old. The same will go for my health.:)

Aloha and Welcome to RFT!!! This is a wonderful time to jump in! I'm so glad you have found us... did you know that there are raw alternatives to Pizza and nachos?? and they absolutley delicious!! if you don't already have Alissa's book and DVD... you might consider adding these to your library. They are the best tools I had when I first transitioned to raw - and I know without the Alissas book - I would've definitely fallen away.

Her recipes are amazing...

blessings on your journey... I look forward to getting to know you... head on over to the journaling section -- where you can start your own blog and read what other people are going thru and what they are experiencing as well as record your own experiences too....

rawk on!!

I have Alissa's book. Have tried many recipes, but had a hard time with pizza.
I have a quick question How do I post a new question on a forum?
Thanks

I too am coming back to raw. I know that once I jump in, the food cravings will go away mostly, it's just the jumping in....like getting into a cool pool, you know it's best to jump right in and it will feel great.

Best Wishes to you.

I wish you much success! And welcome back to raw! :D Doing this 100% was the only way to curb those cravings for me. They still jump out at me now and then. Mainly when I'm fasting. Seems cruel how that works! Green smoothies help a lot with getting rid of cravings!!
