Hi everyone,

I am ill with a systemic autoimmune disease associated with cheek implants I had for 10 years and have recently started eating raw as a desperate measure. Am I being naive to hang my hopes of recovery on raw food as this illness is not really diet-related like cancer, diabetes, heart disease. I have not noticed any improvement in any of my symptoms since implant removal 4 years ago on a protocol of organic food and herbal supplementation; also, no improvement in my symptoms in the last six months on raw food (although my skin, hair and nails are healthier). Does this superficial radiance necessarily indicate healing on the inside or are they mutually exclusive. In other words, can someone be dying of some horrible illness , yet simultaneously glow with health and vibrancy from a raw diet?

10 years of a foreign toxic object left in the body may require a good deal of tiem to heal from. But I beleive it's possible, through RAW, visulaization and prayer. Sending love and light your way for the journey!:D

If your hair, skin and nails are looking healthier, then YOU are healthier! They are a direct reflection of what is going on under the surface. I think the raw diet is the best chance you can give your body to heal. Keep it as the core of your healing protocol. You are on your way to health. You already removed the implants, so now you just need to give your body a chance to detox and get any residual junk out of your system.
My husband developed an auto-immune disorder from working with vinyl, and he was getting bald patches on his head and face. He stopped working with the vinyl and has gone high-raw, and the bald patches are filling in now.
You might want to check out the fasting forum here - that might be something you could do to help move the healing process along.
Be sure to do an environmental check around your living space to make sure you don't have other toxic things you use regularly that might be interfering with your healing. (using plastic containers for food and water and chemical cleaning products come to mind)
Stay positive and know you are on the right track!!
((hugs!))
