okay, besides Alissa , is anyone making a decent LIVING out of raw foods? It seems like such an open market-but could one REALLY make enough $$$ to LIVE?

I've had a dream for a long time of making raw ice cream and CHEAP raw snacks to sell to health food stores.
Maybe I'll start that business once I get out of college . . . I don't know.

Heck yeah you could! Look at David Wolff, the Boutenko Family, Storm and Jinjee, Matt Amsden with Rawvolution, Gabriel Cousens, the folks at all the raw healing retreats, Sarma with Pure Food and Wine & one lucky duck ... :D

Each of these individuals brings something different to the raw community - I don't know what their financials look like, so I couldn't tell you how much of a living they make at raw foods ... still if you have a raw vision go for it - market yourself, put it out there ... I am sure there are at least a few people on this board doing just that.:D

New businesses tend to take a lot of effort to get off the ground, and then they build momentum as they go - of course this all takes constant attention and work (just like any job) :D

You can do it!!! Go for it!!!:D

Almost all the people I've interviewed on my programs are creating income with raw food as caterers, chefs, speakers, authors, restauranteurs; holding retreats, coaching, teaching, seminar leading, etc.

I've been interested in this, too! I've been seriously considering Alissa's 5-day training which, according to all I've read on this forum, is amazing. It's ALOT of $$ for me, so I'd have to save for quite awhile...and $2300 with no refund policy means I'd better be sure I want it. Raw is ALREADY transformational w/o the training, so I'd be doing it specifically as a career path. :)

Hopefully, some of the graduates of Alissa's training will post here...

I am trying to make a LIVING/living from it (and other things as well) and I can definitely see the potential in it. Like it's been mentioned already, just take a look at those who are doing it. Revvell summed up really well many of the possibilities. It just takes drive, ambition and creativity. I think that people who are of other cultures can use that to an advantage because while we have tons of raw recipe books, there aren't many that are specific to certain ethnicities like, Asian Raw food or Italian raw food or Jewish raw recipe books or African raw cuisine or ... Also, raw books translated to other languages...that is another wide open market!

Hi there,

I think that someone who did both raw food prep classes and who also started a raw food delivery service like rawvolution in LA does would do very well in a large enough city where there is a lot of raw foodists. Everyone is always asking me about recipes, food classes and if I will prepare and deliver their food for them. (I don't) It would be a fun business!

Blessings,
