where do you store fruit?

do you guys put your fruit in the fridge?? or leave it out??hmmm.

mostly I leave my fruit out because if it is hidden in the refrigerator it goes to waste because I forget about it :) When it is out its so easy to grab and eat. But things like strawberries I put in the frig.

I do both. I have this really neat 3-tier stand with baskets that I keep my fruit in but I buy a lot of it so what I don't have room for in my baskets, goes in the fridge...PLUS, my kids seem to like their fruit cold, but I prefer mine room temp.

Mostly in the refrigerator cause it keeps longer that way. But if I run out of room I leave some of it out.

Fruit that I use in my smoothies (Strawberry's, kiwi, and cut pineapple) goes in the fridge. I leave banana's on the counter at home.

At work I will be setting up some baskets to keep pears, satsumas, bananas, and apples.

I keep most of my fruit out at room temperature. I do have some apples, oranges, lemons and lime in the fridge but they always get used up for juice or smoothies.

Right now I probably have about 5 bunches of bananas on the counter and another 4 frozen.
