My baby has a small cough, what would be the best way to treat it naturally?

We took him for a walk outside when it was really cold and windy and I don't think we dressed him warm enough, after that he started coughing.

I'm not a Dr., but maybe it's asthma?

no,I do not think so, he is very healthy and never been sick since his birth

My baby is 22 months old. I think he is getting much better though, his cough is slowly going away. Is there anything you would recommend for the cough?
