A year or so ago, it was on my to do list to get a terra cotta pot and do somethin' with it, it's been so long I can't remember what I was suppose to accomplish. :) The pot never got bought because there was some question as to what I was suppose to even buy. So many things trip us up on the way to getting where we want to be! And then I was suppose to do something to the pot. That flax seed sprouting pot method is on a website called the wheatgrass habit if anyone's interested. But that is if you want to sprout all(strait) flax seeds. I found out an easier method is to just mix them in with alfalfa or clover or now I'm mixing them with a mixture of buckwheat and sunflower greens. Those take longer to sprout(I think)so I'm throwing in the flax after the buckwheat and sunflower have sprouted a few days. I need to look up how long you want to sprout flax for.
Now, does anybody know the difference in the flax sprout and the flax seed? I just read on another thread we need to grind the seeds to absorb more of the omega 6. I just wanted to say mixing the flax seeds in with other seeds keeps in from getting that mucogelinous, I know I didn't spell that right, but it doesn't get that sack of water around it and it sprouts so easily. Tastes good too!

Seems to me, sprouting would be even better than grinding as the inhibitors have been freed. Good on ya and thanks for sharing. I never even considered sprouting the lil guys! Gonna try it in my "miracle sprouter".
