OK. well. im just starting to be a raw vegan, so i dont know the benefits of it yet..but i have gained a lot of weight since last year..and i have notice veins..like spider veins, and not varicose veins but just my veins in general are sticking out more.. and its making me very depressed. it would really help if someone would share there stories on getting rid of their veins..or even just a little bit. also if anyone knows of any good helper food for this vein problem of mine that would be GREAT. i hope to hear from you with convincing words that I CAN get rid of them :)

first.... here's a hug ... http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s43/FireStar_830/tha857f08c.gif .... now don't be depressed or worried.
As this journey continues - you will see your body change sooo many times... you will lose inches but the scale won't budge (seriously - that's a weird one!) .... you will see areas where yu have fat deposits (like for me it was my tummy) ... turn into the most disgusting jello like mass (and that is scary!! ) ... but then your body flushes it out and you become more firm again.... until your body does the wierd jello thing again...
it's all a process... weight will fluctuate - change go up - go down - your butt might look bigger - then smaller - your biceps might get thicker while your wrists shrink to nothing!! so many different things can happen!
just remember... your body is shifting and changing -- healing from the inside out... revealing things you may not have seen before because fat deposits were hiding it... so -- take a deep breath... and just know that these vibrant living foods are doing what they are supposed to do -- provide your body with the nutrients it needs to finally allow your deepest true self to emerge!
For some - this might only take a few weeks or months -- but for others (like me) who abused my body (smoking cigarettes since I was 11 years old)... it might take my body 2 years until my true self emerges -- but - that's okay -- I'm on the path now - and I'm worth the wait... AND SO ARE YOU...
so breatheeeee.... allow your body the time it needs to do it's work... the benefits you will experience as a result of the loving care you are now giving yourself... will be well worth it!
rawk on rawbie... just keep on -- keepin on!
http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s43/FireStar_830/ththliloandstitchhug.gif ... oh and dont' forget -- it's very important to drink LOTS of water - and get some exercise too!! ;)

Starfire is a woman of high wisdom.
There are so many testimonials on this website that I can't imagine ANYONE WOULDN'T want to switch to a Raw Foods diet after reading them.
Keep the body moving. Spider veins are usually caused by the blood not getting enough circulation. Gotta keep moving. As some have said here: "just get out and walk the dog, even if it's imaginary".
I read so much on Raw Food before I took the leap. And I continue to read everything I can get my hands on.
You'll do fine you know why?
Cause your a RAWKSTAR!!!!:D

After 3 months of being raw now and being an avid rebounder, My spider veins around my knees are almost invisible now. I honestly never thought that I would see the day that I could get rid of those veins by myself with my new lifestyle. The power of RAW is just amazing and so are the benefits of rebounding exercise.
