Does anyone else seem to put on about 10 lbs during the winter months, in spite of maintaining a diet pretty similar to what they eat during the rest of the year?

Yup.

Absolutely.

For me I think I become more sedentary and I miss the sunshine with the daylight hours being shorter.

I have put on weight but I think that I am eating far more nuts than previously.

I was putting on a little but in a way that made me not feel too hot (and I don't mean sexy or warm!)... I WAS eating more nuts than my body could handle, and my face told me so! I just did a 2-day mostly juice fast, and boom! The extra pudge on my belly is gone...

I'm really going to have to force myself to stay active this winter and to only eat what my body tells me to eat. Otherwise, I'll gain weight I'm not meant to gain and feel less than my best. And that doesn't work for me anymore!

I'm not sure if this is in any way related to the weight you're gaining, but I feel a lot better right now than I have in a couple weeks. :)

I have gained some I think too; I can tell my the way I feel. Winter is not my favorite season and when we have this snow and freezing rain I lose my motivation....really have to push myself in the winter. Like Life said, the sunshine is a big factor for me...it's like it take me a while to transition to doing more indoor exercises 'cause I've gotten used to doing stuff outside.

Not to be a kill joy but I have not gained but lost about 8lbs this month so far. I am suprised as I have been eating differently although still 100% raw. I have had issues with less regular elimination though.
