Hi, all--

I just read the thread on positive change--loved it. Along those same lines, I have been feeling depleted lately in some ways. Not physically--eating raw is wonderful for energy--but it has been a year of major transitions. Life is good now, but I am wanting to build in more times to nourish my soul. I have been interested to hear what others have said about changes since eating raw. I have switched to healthy cosmetics, cleaning products, etc. I am also trying a nontraditional "church" in the area for a spiritual community.

I am wondering what people do on a daily basis, just a few minutes, maybe, to nourish themselves. Yoga, journaling of different kinds, meditation or silence or prayer--all great. I am open to considering any ideas. I hope you all have a relaxing and peaceful new year!

I could have written your post... change can be good or bad, but it's definitely a stressor, like it or not!

I drink hot herbal tea and listen to nice music at the same time... When I'm drinking it, I don't gulp and make it go quickly. Instead, it's a lovely ritual. I hold the tea so I feel the warmth of the cup on my hands. I breathe the scent in deeply, close my eyes, and I really enjoy the moment.

Sometimes yoga too. Exercising sure helps! That reminds me... I need to get back into running. The really centers me like nothing else can!

That's funny Eva ~ I was thinking the same thing (again ;) ). I have been reading alot of Deepak lately to fill my spiritual cup.... learning to meditate... talking to the angels. It is all working amazingly well for me ~ hope you find what works for you. Deepak's book "the seven spiritual laws of success" is amazing and full of things you can do everyday to make a positive change in yourself and the world. Very cool.... :)

Last time I needed to replenish, I read lots of chick lit. :D

Shopaholic series by Sophia Kinsella is soooo good. Makes me realize that everyone makes mistakes and makes me laugh A LOT.

Exercise, making some of the gourmet recipes and hanging out with friend/sister/bfriend are usually great too.... as long as they do not stress you out.
