Would I be able to make pates in a Vitamix?

I really love the sunflower dill pate I have been getting for lunch on my salad and I would like to start making my own in the new year.

Can the vitamix do this?

Definatly!! I just got the vitamix myself and WHat a difference it has been.....we've made nut butters and pates and it all came out perfectly!!!
Just be careful not to run the motor too long, cuz it will heat the food very quickly!!
