I'm 35 and have been wearing contact lenses since I was 13. At some point, all of a sudden the contact solutions said, "Thimersol free!" I might have misspelled that but it's mercury! I'm thinking of all the damage I've been doing to my eyes over the years, embedding mercury right into that soft tissue.

Does anyone know if all contact lense solutions are mercury free now? I'm not sure how to go about researching this.

I watched videos from Dr. Christopher's clinics about people doing eyeball washes with cayenne solutions. I'll try it and let you know.

Any feedback on eyeball health? I sure would like to be one of those miracle stories of raw people who no longer need their glasses.

I have actually used Dr. Christopher's eye wash and it's great. I've had the same bottle for years and have used it for my husband and four children. We don't use it that often but when we have, it's really done the trick. I have to tell you that it does sting your eye for awhile but it works so much quicker than anything else you could use. When my kids were little and they would get pink eye (which wasn't very often) I'd use that and it was gone the next day. The stuff my dr. gave me took much longer but believe me it does sting.

Hey, what are different ways we can detox mercury and heavy metals out of our bodies?

I was just on Dr. Gabriel Cousen's site reading up on all of the amazing claims about natural cellular defense. Anyone worked with that? It'd be worth the high price if it does everything claimed.

I just read somewhere (can't remember where) that rebounding is great for eye health. Something like "vision therapy" and people not needing glasses after rebounding for a while. Seems pretty far fetched to me, but combined with raw, you'll never know what can happen!! :D Someone else might have imput on this, too.

cilantro and chlorella are both powerful heavy metal detoxifiers that are pretty easy to add to your diet. there are some natural chelating agents available as well as cleansing kits for heavy metals; try doing a google search.
