I put my foods in "Fitday" and found that I am eating 203 carbs, 901 calories, 6 fat, 28 protien.
I see that I can bring my calorie intake up, but I am full and satisfied at 901. I can bring some of it down by not eating 4 bananas a day, which I was told not to do anyway. LOL
How much is good enough. I am 5'4" and I weigh 190. I exercising, but not regularly. I start a regular routine at the YMCA Tuesday and a Swim aerobics class as well.
Thanks for your help and God bless.

that sounds like a good number ,but remember raw foods is about how you FEEL ,not the numbers ----like if you down a cup of nuts I dont think you will feel too good....ya know? Your body is the best nutrient calculator - ;)

I agree with VV
this is not a diet, where we have to count carbs or calories, this is about a way of eating naturally, so we can be and feel our 100% best on raw foods.
I always say, if it works for you, then don't mess with it.
I say this about your lifestyle, what you eat, how you live, etc.
So, if you "FEEL" good, and are loosing weight (that is, of course, if you want to) then don't mess with it, but if you are "feeling" tired or out of sorts, that is when you can start looking around to change what you are doing, and is why most of us are here on this raw food board.

I got frustrated with fitday because if I ever make a salad or other combined meal I don't feel like I had exact measurements to put them in! Like VV said, I think it's important to go by how you feel. If we follow what is a good balanced living diet we should be OK (IMO)! :)

I agree fully with the above. I've never counted calories, carbs, fats, etc. On this food program it is totally unneccessary (sp). One can drive themselves nuts "trying" to get everything right ~ not trusting that if, eating whole, organic, fresh foods their body knows best.

Thank you all for your reply. I have been feeling a lot better since I started eating raw again and I love it. I get hungry more often, but I am full and satisfied. I think I'll leave fit day to the "dieters" and I'll trust my natural way of eating and what it tells me.
Thanks again and God bless you all
