Hi Everyone!
I am starting the 100% Raw Challenge next week, and I was hoping to find a raw recipe that is similar in taste to Goddess Dressing.......I am TRULY addicted....I remember seeing it one time, but DOH! I didn't write it down.
Since there is so much knowledge here, I was hoping that someone else was smart enough to write it down.
Thank you!
:)

I did a quick search and found this recipe from the AnniesNaturals Brand Vegan Goddess Dressing:

Expeller-Pressed Canola Oil, Water, Tahini, Cider Vinegar, Soy Sauce, Lemon Juice, Sea Salt, Garlic, Toasted Sesame Seeds, Parsley, Chives, Xanthan Gum

Sooo...seems like you would only have to substitute the soy sauce for Bragg's, the toasted sesame seeds for raw ones and as for the xanthan gum...not sure but if it's for thickening purposes, perhaps flax seed (soaked), and of course RAW tahini :)

The Kitchen Witch's Goddess Dressing

4 tablespoons Raw Olive Oil
4 Whole Green Onions
4 Raw Green Olives
3 Cloves Garlic
2 Tablespoons Dried or 1/2 cup Fresh Parsley
1/4 cup Raw Sesame oil
1/2 cup Raw Tahini
2 Tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar
2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
1/4 cup Water
1/2 teaspoon Celtic Sea Salt
1/4 teaspoon Pepper
2 Tablespoons Sesame Seeds
1 Tablespoon Flax Seeds soaked in 2 oz. Water

Blend all until smooth and only a bit chunky. Keep refrigerated (if you don't just eat it all with a spoon!) in a tightly sealed glass jar or other container.

This dressing *never* makes it to the refrigerator when I make it! It gets gobbled right up! ;)

I made the dressing sans the parsley, sesame oil cause I didn't have any. I used walnut oil instead. It is yummy and very thick, but I can thin it upon use if I decide or spread it like mayo.

That is what I like about raw - it works when you modify and something else happens. Thanks CC - I am rawking now!

Yes, you are right...It is very thick! To thin it add more oil, lemon juice and water...

It's great to be able to adapt recipes to your own tastes and to what you on hand at the time...it *is* easier with Raw recipes to do this than with cooked ones, for some people...The freedom is very liberating! We can all be Chefs! :)
