Hello all!

This is a delicious, super easy tomato soup that I love. I eat very simply and very low fat so you might want to jazz it up even more with some pine nuts or other nuts, salt and pepper and other spices, cilantro, basil etc...

The amounts are very general because I never measure, I adjust everything by choice. What I listed below fills up a standard vita mix blender container (larger than a standard blender)

Here is my verson:
five or six medium size ripe vine ripened tomatoes--substitute any tomatoes you like

two-three stalks of celery

15 dates

the juice of one to two medium to large limes

half of a yellow or orange or red bell pepper

Blend until evenly mixed.

Thats it! Super easy and quick and delicious!

Enjoy!

Blessings,

I try not too heat it too long but sometimes i heat it too much so i started heating the bowl in my convection oven and then adding the soup it heats it up slowly and i don't end up having cooked soup and it stays warm longer:D
Thanks for the recipe:) .

Tried the soup with some slight modification - love it. Thanks so much - this adds on another variety to my food. That helps a lot especially since I am very new and am trying to work towards 100% raw.

Sounds wonderful. About how many servings does the recipe make?

Hello all,

I'm so glad you all enjoyed it!! I love it.

I'm not sure about individual servings, it makes almost a full vita mix container full which is one serving for me, but it stuffs me and I can be a pig about this soup because it is so yummy. :-) It would be at least two servings for more moderate people.
