Some of my dad's friends wanted to try a raw/vegan diner sine a long time and I finally did it on the 23rd. They said some of their friends told them to expect to have to stop at Mc Donalds afterwards (they are people who eat a lot and are overweight).

I started with a raw carrot-ginger-lime soup, they loved it and immediately wanted the recipe. I then served raw tacos (with real corn based taco shells) with either refried bean imitation of taco meat along with salsa and guacamole. They loved that also. I also had raw corn jalapeno chips which they loved even more than the tacos. It ended with a coconut-vanilla ice cream I made which blew them away.

They said they were stuffed even before the desert! Needless to say, I don't think they went to Mc Donalds.

It's sad how people think vegan food is not filling, when the truth is it's far MORE filling. The non vegan junk I ate before I ate 3 times more and was always hungry, my endless hunger never ended until I went raw (a sign I was suffering from severe chronic vitamin deficiencies).

Well done! That sounds so yum. Like the others, I'd love to know more about the recipes you used -- anything that goes down well with non-raw friends is worth knowing about!
