I ended up not working today as my daughter is sick. Me, home and surrounded by awful Xmas leftovers that I have been eating. Today while I am home that kitchen is getting bleached down and all sabotaging food gotten rid of.

A while ago I had ordered "the detox bible" off of Chet Day's site (www.chetday.com). It is a 21 day detox of just eating fruits, vegetables, juices and smoothies. In his ebook he details each of the 21 days as he does it with you. So that is what I have decided to do. After the 21 days Chet recommends if you feel up to it, to do another 21. So I will see how I feel after 21 days. If you don't want to do another 21 than you essentially have a somewhat clean slate to begin anew with slowly incorporating in nuts, etc.

I am just going to try and keep busy today and get my kitchen ready and my schedule for the week ready.

I sure hope this can be the beginnings of a new start.

Jafragirl, I'm curious about the vegetables in the detox plan. Are you allowed to eat the veggies in the form of salads w/dressing or just plain, raw veggies?

Very curious here too! I really want to really start the year off right! I am wanting to do a fast, say, starting the day OF my Dr.s appointment, on January 2nd.....looking or instruction to do at least 21 days, or maybe 40 days......

Sounds great.
