My dad called this morning talking about a new years day lunch. I would like to TRY marinated greens. I know there are alot of recipes out there. What should I try first. What is a good "green" to try? I've never been a great fan of collards or mustard greens, I guess I'm not sure which ones to use??
Thanks

The wilted kale with chipotle dressing was quite tasty - the recipe is somewhere here???
Marinated mushrooms are my great favorite but, yeah I know it's not a green;) .
Let me know what you come up with !

I like kale mixed with spinach and a a sweet dressing made out of berries and olive oil.
Collards used as wraps that have marinated in Shoya are good too

marinated greens huh? gosh - what kind of marinade were you thinking of?
http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s43/FireStar_830/Food%20pics/CucumberSaladW.jpg ... this thai cucumber salad is really easy to make - very tasty --- and it's also great over a regular mixed greens salad....

In German tradition, the more sauerkraut you eat, the more money you will get in the New Year :D
