Any suggestions? And I love how the titles of some recipes are classic rock songs or lines in songs! Also, is the cucumber watercress soup recipe the same as the cucumber soup they serve at the restaurant? Thanks!

What is it you feel to eat? Everything I've made from there has been good. I'd just go easy on garlic and Nama Shoyu. The man loves his salt and garlic.

I love the book. I also love the taco meat (I don't remember the exact name) it is made out of walnuts and just a few spices. I took this to a get together and my non-raw friends loved it!

Good luck.

Okay there are many good recipes but one of my favourites and there are many is the spinach lasagna (don't know if that's the exact name but I'm going from memory here).

His Scarborough Fair Soup is great as well, the Fudge also.

Let us know how they turn out. :)

I LOVE the onion bread. I make it a couple times a week, and I'm making it again tomorrow. From experience, however, I'd suggest using less onions than he recommends. In fact, I use half the amount.

spiralgirl: are you sure you don't mean the spinach-cheese quiche? His lasagna is not with spinach as far as I remember, it isn't a very good lasagna either compared to others I've tried.

The recipes I remember I like from his book are:
-Onion bread
-Falafels & Mango chutney (this one is really awesome)
-The tomato basil, thai curry, and onion soups are my 3 favorite soups from the book
-The fresh taco and salsa
-The sunflower cheese spread, I use it like cheeze whiz on celery, soo good!

Those are the ones I remember from the top of my head, I tried others also which were good.

I like so many things in that book!
Today I made the gaucamole and the taco meat and put it on romaine, it was really yummy!
Everyone I made food for loved the Mock tuna salad, the Big Matt, the Lasagna, Soft Tacos, etc.

OMG... the falafels changed my LIFE. I didn't have enough almonds, so I subbed half the almonds for cashews, and it was even BETTER! (I've since made it with only almonds... didn't like it as much, and was drier..)

I concur - I always use 1/2 of what is recommended!
