Hello everyone!

I just thought I'd post my Christmas menu. I'd love to hear everyone else's menus too!

We will be having:

Ani's donuts
veggie tray with creamy dill dip
chili
crackers and hummus
gingerbread cookies
mini carrot cakes with coconut cream filling and lemon cream frosting
chocolate silk pie

I think that is all I have planned. Hehe, looks like I have quite the Christmas sweet tooth huh?

I will post pictures on my blog of all the yummy food on Christmas.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Glad to see I'm not the only one with the severe sweet tooth this holiday!:D

I will be having a fruit salad for breakfast with durian in it. I might make a macadamia cream to put on top. I also made pumpkin spice mini muffins but will probably eat them throughout the day. Dinner will be brussel sprouts, cranberry sauce, salad with persimmons, and chocolate fudge. Mmm. Oh and apple cider.

Merry Christmas!

Cindy what are you doing with those brussel sprouts? My mum adores them but I can't make them edible for her raw (she's got bad teeth so chewing raw food is really hard!)
Your menu sounds delicious Alisha.
Chillie and gingerbread, donuts and chocolate! All in one day!! Aghh.
Next year I think I'll do something like that.

This year I'm trying to do a traditional dinner.

My menu is rather simple but I am excited about it!

I just finished making Alissa's calzone, marinara sauce, and the pumpkin pie recipe from this forum. My roommate is making a salad, I am making a salad dressing...and that is our Christmas!

I am serving one of our non raw friends and I am hoping that he will enjoy this food tomorrow  !

Merry Christmas everyone!!

Bobbie,

I am putting truffle infused olive oil on the brussel sprouts. I can eat them raw, but I will lightly steam them for my mom.

I'm having Alissa's Calzone recipe with the spinach and cheese inside. Never made it but it's in the dehydrator right now.

Egg Nog

Gingerbread Cookies with Icing

Chocolate Cheesecake

Maybe Salad as well since I have a lot of it.

So far for me...

Christmas breakfast was fresh pineapple and kiwi. Yum!

Lunch is a smoothie with banana, pear, and blueberries.

I've made a large fruit salad and green salad to take for dinner tonight with my family and there will be all the "traditional" foods too. I have been water fasting for the past 2 days because of not feeling well so fruit and greens will be all I want and need! No temptations for me today.

Have a wonderful day everyone!

I wanted to make the calzone too but my dehydrator is a l'equip - you can only make flat things.

I also whipped up a quick butternut squash soup with the leftover squash from the pumpkin spice muffins. Yum!

I made the slaw from "The Raw Table"....so delicious! ........this year we decided to make one of everyone's favorite dish...the kids and my hubby each picked out a healthy dish...{not raw though}....and I picked the Raw Slaw:) .this is so much more fun than making a traditional SAD meal that no one eats the leftovers of anyways {at least not in my house!}....Merry Christmas to all!!!!
