I'm curious to know which spiralized-vegetable people think makes the best spaghetti. So far I've only tried zucchini, turnip, carrot and onion. I like zucchini best with marinara but turnip best with pesto.
Has anyone tried butternut squash, cucumber, sweet potato, parsnip or beetroot?

Hands down Zucchini. :)
Personally, I prefer cucumber. I use to enjoy steamed zuccini. But have not accustomed to it raw yet. I really like to use cucumber as a replacement in many raw "pasta" recipes.

I love sweet potato for angel hair noodles (white is my fav but the orange flesh ones are great too) I also like golden beets for angel hair noodles.
For thicker noodles I still like zucchini because it is so watery and flavourless -thicker sw potato noodles are just too starchy and crunchy to use as is...

I used sweet potato today, and I liked it fine, but zuchinni is still better especially if it's been left out for a few hours or dehydrated for awhile. Yummmmy.
