:) I'm sure most of you veterans have this recipe but just thought I'd share it anyway. It is from Jennifer Cornbleet's "Raw Food Made Easy" book. Am I allowed to use her name and book? Yes, I think so. (Lousy memory!) It didn't make near enough so next time I will double or even triple it.

1 frozen banana
1/2 cup almond milk
1 1/2 tsp. pure maple syrup or agave nectar (I used agave)
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

Allow the banana to thaw for 5 minutes then Blend with the rest of the ingredients in vitamix 'til smooth and creamy. Serve immediately.

Variations: For chocolate shake: Add 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa or carob powder, and increase the maple syrup to 2 tsps.

For strawberry shake: Omit the vanilla and add 1 cup fresh or
frozen strawberries (about 6). If using frozen strawberries, do not thaw or drain.

I would love to share with you but I never measure so I will put it up later tonight as I plan to make one. I had made one for my Raw Food Tasting and one of the girls said it was like "Crack" so addicting. It was very good.

Didn't know this was in a recipe book but we make it all the time, although we like to keep the banana froozen....it reminds me of milkshake consistency. We've also used fresh squeezed orange juice instead of the nut milk. Yeah, this is a winner. Oh, it's also good with some spinach added to it.
