Hi all,
Been poking around here for a few days, and was wondering if anyone else has got the "Living on live food" book new in the UK? I tried to order of the site but shipping is way too expensive for me at $90 dollars plus book, but the book looks way too good to miss out on.
Been suffering from IBS and other "Unknowns" for way too long now, I live healthy and excercise, and my doctor is convinced im a secret alcoholic even though I very very rarley drink, im sure its because they dont have a clue. So I am going to give raw food a damn good go.
Thanks

Hey there.
I am also new to raw, been about 80% for the last few weeks moving steadily on to 90%
I ordered living on Live Food nearly 2 weeks ago from Amazon..co.uk and am waiting impatiently for it to arrive, with DVD. Maybe you should try having a look on there. And Im living in Germany.
Good Luck!!

Hello again
I managed to find a supplier of the book blighty side of the pond, it cost £35 including shipping but should be worth it. I ended up sending an email to alissas site and they directed me to a uk website.
Hope to jump in feet first with you all soon.
Cheers

Hi Fisticuffs - I will be visiting the Machester area over Christmas (my husband's family is in Ainsdale near Liverpool) - Can you recommend any stores that have raw products (nuts, etc...) that I can buy.
Welcome! Alicia

Hi aliciamatheson
Manchester town centre is very big chain shops unless you hit the outskirts, there is an aisian supermarket on Oldfield road A5066 that I have not had a look at yet, otherwise just the usual places, there is a market in the Arndale Centre and the usual Holand&Barrat chain store about a 10 min walk from there.

Thanks Fisticuffs - I do know Holland and Barrat so I will go there when we arrive! I'll check out the Asian market and report back to you. Alicia

In the United States they have a shipping rate for books only, it is much cheaper. It has to be only books and can't include any coresspondence. You might look into it.....her book is the best I've come across, if I could only choose one raw food book, it would be Alissa's. She covers EVERYTHING!!!
