This really works. I just made a whole tray full of patties with hardly any of the usual fuss and muss. Just use a mason jar lid (you know the ones, the flat part of the lids come off!!). Here's where I got the info from:

Shaping Patties or Burgers
To make uniform-size burgers, crab patties, potato ckaes or other such items, use a Mason jar lid. You can line the lid with plastic wrap or wax paper, then fill the lid completely with the ingredients, then remove the patty by gently pushing the lid up from the bottom.

I didn't line them. I don't use plastic wrap. All I did was rinse the lid and rim after making every other patty. Just as good as, or better than, putting a plastic lining!
Very kewl. :)
