I want to soak the nuts before I make the butter.
My question is....do I need to dehydrate them again before making the butter? Or can I just make it with them while they are wet?
I will be using a juicer to do the nut butter.
(also, what is the best nut to use? I'd love to know which is tastiest and also which is least expensive. Probably won't wind up being the same nut- ha!)
TIA!

the instructions say to run the nuts through using the flat peice instead of the one with holes for juicing produce. I guess it just smushes it against it instead? I'm new to this, but that is my understanding. :)

It will probably keep better if you dehydrate first-almonds are good-maybe you could try a little bit after soaking and see how you like it.

Thank you for posting this. I have added it to my blog as well for those who would like to know, like myself, how to make nut butter. I think it is way less expensive then purchasing the store brand. You also know what is going into it.

I don't.
Nor do I soak them first unless I"m sprouting them.
In that case, I make the butter as I need it.
