Hey guys~
I've been down real hard with a kidney infection, major back pain, high fever, chills, exhaustion...blood in urine and dehydration.

I am on an antibiotic which I hate to do but it was not responding at all to drinking, cranberry, etc...(I also tried a homeopathic urinary tract tincture)

Has anyone else every dealt with this kind of thing, and if so how?? This is the sickest I have ever been as an adult.

GlimR.... so sorry you are dealing with this -- yes - I am INTIMATELY familiar with EXACTLY this problem!

if you can get to a store - or have someone do some shopping for you. You will need some corn on the cob STILL IN THE HUSK.

heat up some water to just before boiling...

husk the corn and take the golden threads -- the cornsilk...

Place the cornsilk into a pot - add a few granuels of cayenne pepper and cover with the very warm/hot water.... and let it steep for about 15 minutes.

Drink as much of this as you can. It is very VERY HEALING.

Years ago - I was literally stuck on the toilet - had lost complete control of my bladder - and had blood and mucous in my urine... my ex husband made me this tea ... (he was an herbologist) and I sat there for two hours drinking cup after cup after cup... when I finished one cup - he'd give me another ....

in about 2 hours - I had regained control and the pain in my kidneys had stopped....

I continued on this regime... drinking this tea for several days after ... until I was feeling really strong again.

at that point -- he put me on red raspberry tea with some alfafa added - this is very healing and also very strengthening to your entire body.

THIS SERIOUSLY WORKS.... I was in so much pain - and couldn't believe how much better I felt after drinking this tea. Cranberry juice seemed to intensify the pain for me - I think it was just too strong for my kidneys to handle...

good luck - feel better ...Oh --- and if you cannot find fresh raw cornsilk -- the health food store should sell cornsilk tea either in the bulk or by the box... it is still very healing (RAW IS BETTER!!....) But any cornsilk tea is better than none!
