I'm wondering if anyone could offer some good recipes that I can make without the use of a food processor? I have a standard blender, and that's about it.

Obviously salad, soups, smoothies..but is there anything a bit more adventurous that you have come across that doesn't require a FP?

Thanks! :)

For what it's worth, I end up using my blender frequently in food processor recipes because it does the same thing for the most part, and it's just so much easier to clean!

So, all the pates have been fine in the blender.

I make "savory smoothies" as soup sometimes and sometimes drink them like a V-8 with tomatoes, sometimes an avocado, onions, a chopped up celery top with the leaves and some sort of green leafy somethin'.

But seriously, my FP is just such a pain sometimes that I (although not always) frequently just use the blender instead.

Mmmmm.... have you tried the applesauce by the way???

i know this isn't much different than smoothies.... but have you tried puddings? Like with young coconut meat? These are addicting..... coconut-vanilla, or coconut-chocolate-mint.... MMMmmmmmmMMM

You can make pates (grind nuts in blender then chop other ingredients with knife and mix the rest by hand), pasta sauces in blender and use peeler for the noodles, puddings, sauces, nut cheeses, lots of things I suppose.
