Ok. Are any of these store bought almond milks raw?

I am really craving getting some raw cereal, having some vanilla almond milk and maybe some frozen blueberries or something.

A rawking thanks,
Mull

Sorry to say that, Mull, but you have to get active here :D

If you can't be bothered to make it from almonds-scratch (although it's cool, because then you can soak/sprout them before!), you can be lazy and just blend some raw almond butter with water ;) No straining, just enjoy.

I personally enjoy mylks from sprouted quinoa or amaranth, just because I really like their very own taste (plus the benefit of protein and carbs with less fat, and a lot of calcium and iron!). I make them just by blending the sprouts (1-2 days old) with water (first only 1 part, then add more), without straining.

Hope that helps!

Mueller - grab 1 cup of almonds (I don't sprout them or anything) to 3 cups of water. Blend the living daylights out of it. You can either drink it "straight up" or strain it through a cheese cloth (see Alissa's site) to filter out the almond graininess and have pure milk. Alicia
