msm for acne scars and dosage questions

how many mg of msg should one take daily if they want to heal scars? i have acne scars on my face as well as a few other ones on my body. has anyone noticed any major improvement with msm?

am taking 2000mg a day, been on it for about a week things are starting to happen not sure weather its due to my 8 weeks on roaccutane or my 6th week on green smoothie but something is happening...

I now have an aloe vera plant that am treating my scars with externally..

All I can say is goodbye to them... am very confident..

So to answer your question

I dont know am in the same boat really having just started taking them but something out of the 3 if not all 3 are doing something to improve my skin..

Use MSM lotion on your acne scars. I have them on my face too.

I use David Wolfes brand. I massage it into the scars twice a day and in a month the scars were a lot less noticeable. They are pretty much gone now. I had the pitted scars.

As far as internally, I was taking around 1/2 teaspoon twice a day that first month I started. I do know the higher the dosage the faster your results but MSM can be hard for some to take so take what you can.

I still use the lotion but not the internal as much and now I use 1/2 tablespoon when I do the internal MSM.

i've heard msm is great for the regeneration of healthy skin, etc..so i wish you the best of luck with its use

i also wanted to offer that i use coconut oil everynight as a moisturizer, and while its been about 4 months and its slow-going, my skin is definitely a) softer b) my scars are less noticeable by far

i take 3-4 tbsp coconut oil internally daily and apply it to my whole body nightly and it makes my skin so amazingly nice within a few days. im content with the skin on my body, just not this stubborn acne.

Hi! I wanted to know too. All I know is that acne can be removed by taking the proper vitamins. Also, a balanced diet will help. However, when I deal with students who are having so much problems with their acne, there is a psychological impact. I hope someone would help. thanks
