Hi everyone. Well i came across this website looking for support on going raw. For a while I have been sure that I have a thyroid problem but that is not the case. Since my doctor says nothing is wrong with me i am forced to face the truth. I know that i the reason my health is the way it is is because of my sleeping and eating habits. I really just want to chance my life. I haven't read the book that this website is based on nor did i even know that it existed, but i believe that i will. I'm really just tired of always being tired, always feeling like i'm sick, feeling like i dont even have the energy to clean a room in my house. I have been reading around this site a little bit but i am not really sure how to get started. I read about a cleanse? And i also read about aliver kidney cleanse....an anyone point me in the right direction as to start all of this. I dont want to live another day treating my body the way i do. Thanks everyone

Welcome. Eating this way CAN be as simple as just analyzing what level of fresh raw plant foods you are eating now....and very comfortable with now....and just setting small goals to increase this. The food itself will be very cleansing. Power and success to you.

Welcome
You should start by doing the 30 day challange. You can read about it on the Home page.

Welcome! Everybody is at a different stage in their progress at getting healthy, but overall I would say that your story is not very different from many of our stories before changing our diets. I would suggest first getting Alissa's book-Living on Live Food-it is a great book for people, just like you, who are new and starting out. It is a quick read with some fabulous recipes and inspriational stories. She even has gone so far as to give you a 4 week menu plan and grocery list! Once armed with that, I agree, do the 30 day challenge and watch your life begin to change! Good luck to you! Hope to hear more from you on this board.

I believe you HAVE TO order her book. When I first started, while I was WAITING for Alissa's book, (because her book is awesome and it is THE BIGGEST raw book I own, with GREAT pics and EASY recipes!!) I borrowed books from the library!! Good luck, and like was mentioned earlier, just start eating MORE raw foods everyday. It's as simple as eating as much fruit as you want for breakfast, and veggies/salads for lunch and dinner. Keep reading, and good luck!!
Peace, in Him,
