Well I just wanted to share with you all that finally I am at the 100 pounds lost mark today. (I actually had already lost 100 pounds from my heaviest but now this is 100 pounds since I began eating raw last September). I am currently fasting though so when I end my fast I expect to gain a few pounds back. But it feels good to see what I would look like at my goal weight and I love it. I have went from a size 20 down to a size 4 in about 15 months. I praise God and give thanks to all of you who have been my encouragement and support - Oh and also to Alissa who through her book and this website taught me about the raw food lifestyle.

Hopefully this fast has helped me break my plateau once and for all cause I really like being at my goal. So even if its for a short time I can say that I made it to 130!:D I hope this encourages somebody.

Congratulations! I was wondering if you were fasting again since I noticed the 9 pound weight loss from your previous post.

I cannot seem to budge the last 20 or so pounds. It is so frustrating and fasting for me is not an option because I get so severely hypoglycemic.

You are an inspiration to have stayed raw through the year. That is just wonderful! :) You have inspired so many of us!

Me! It encourages MEEEEEE!
That's so wonderful Morn.....I know all about your story, and have read your blog, and I think it's such a testimony to the power of eating raw, that you were able to shed your 'false' body, and reveal who you were meant to be!
I have about 45 lbs. or so to lose, so I'm hoping to follow your example....no, I WILL follow your example.

Carlton is dancing in celebration for you ~

Morn, Congratulations - you have inspired so many people here. Any words of advice for us? Alicia

The advice I think is really key is one word Accountability - Allow yourself to be accountable to others if you really want to change!

And then do whatever it takes to keep focused on your goal!

Congratulations, Morn. You continue to be an inspiration! I remember weighing 130 in my adult life and I sure didn't wear a size 4. I was wearing a size 8 then. How is it that you can wear such a small size? Is there a different kind of reshaping/reducing with raw than just following a "cooked diet"? The smallest size I can ever remember wearing in my entire life was a
6X when I was a child. I suppose I wore a size 4 at some point in my life, but it sure would be incredible to wear that size now! :D

This is gonna sound a little too practical for this atta girl thread,

BUT, when did you buy new clothing? I have gone done 60 lbs now, and bypassed my goal weight, but am still wearing the same clothes (if they don't fall off).

When do you bite the bullet and buy something new.......I was waiting for the weight to stop leaving........but I just lost a few more pounds......Should I just wait till it's stable?

How do u figure out your goal weight anyway people? What SHOULD I be looking for, when should it stabilize.....?

WAIT TO GO MORN!!!I am so very proud of you!

Rainbowgirl: I love your question. I think I have a crazy fear of that too. Like if I sabbotage myself I won't have to buy new clothes, or worse yet, buy new ones and 3 months later not be able to wear them. Maybe I'm afraid too of getting TOOO small in the long run?? (yeah right, like that will happen!;) )

Anyway, congratulations MORN...now I'm waiting for pics too:D

I think it has to do with how tall people are. I know 130's sounds like a lot of weight to still be in a size 4 but it is true. I consider myself to be pretty tall at 5'-6".

What I did was shop at the resale shops, and thrift stores so I didn't spend too much on my clothing that I wouldn't be staying in.

After losing 60 pounds I would definately buy some new clothing. You will feel so much better about yourself when you do. For me it was the most exciting part! Your clothing must be like a tent on you! I know you want to not have to keep buying clothing but I think it is time! I set my goal within my BMI (body mass index) scale. I chose a number closer to the bottom of my weight range. You may want to do the same.
