Hi
my name is paulina I have started raw eating about a few days ago. I live in spain with my family....I just was tired of feel run down and not liking what I see in the mirror.
So here I am, I have a rebouncer and I do that everyday, I would like to be healthy and in shape. At the moment I am not doing much physically and I stop watching t.v...found no comfort in it so thats when I started to look from with in. The only thing is I will be the only one in my family doing this so it will be hard when I start smelling the food from the kitchen, so I have come here to get so support to keep me going and to meet others who have the same goals as me.... I do have low moods and dont feel the way I should do. Any way any help out there guys PLEASE..I am all alone here..
love and wonder

Welcome Pauline!
I'm sure you will find tons of support, knowledge and friendship here on raw food talk. Where in Spain do you live? The five weeks that I spent on vacation in Barcelona eating mostly fresh raw food were some of the happiest weeks of my life. Enjoy your journey!

Welcome Paulina!
So glad that someone else has found this wonderful path to good health. Since you are interested in the mind, you will be absolutely amazed at the effect this way of eating and drinking (juices and smoothies, I mean) is going to have on your own mind! Your senses will be heightened and you will really feel that your brain is working differently - so hang in there and don't let yourself get overly hungry or overly tired. Try to have something on hand to eat or drink (like green smoothies and raw crackers with Alissa's cream cheese on top (raw, of course) or the eggless egg salad on top. Yummy. At least I hope you like them. A makeup artist eh? Wonderful! And how lovely to be able to live in Spain! All the best.
Monkey I love your Name!
I know what you mean about not feeling good physically and mentally about yourself. Before going raw I was lethargic and tired all the time and felt horrible about myself. I hope your journey with raw food proves to be as wonderful for you as it has been for me. It has completely changed mylife and I thank God everyday for him leading me to this lifestyle and this website and Alissa.
You are among good company here so stay connected and you will grow! Best to you on your journey

congratulations on taking radical self-responsibility for your health and well being! you are a rockstar, a groundbreaker, a revolutionary! and you are far from alone... there is a whole community of people ready, willing and able to support you on your journey. just because we don't live next door or in your house doesn't make us less real. its so beautiful to be alive at precisely this time, when more and more people are becoming conscious of bettering their health through raw foods, and when technology gives us these fabulous tools to exponentially increase both the number of people exposed to these ideas and the speed at which we as a group can learn from each other and keep on forging ahead.
its a new age. a cyber community is still a community.
see you around the boards!

Hi Paulina! Thought I'd jump on the 'Welcome Wagon'! As you've seen from the above posts, you're most definitely not alone, and will find all the support and encouragement you need, right here! Like Star said, most of us here are the only rawbies in our respective families (immediate or otherwise), and know exactly what you are going through.....no worries....just keep coming back! Best of luck ~

Paulina,
As everyone else has done, I just wanted to welcome you to the community. This is an amazing forum, with a great group of people and is an ideal place to kind of feel like your not alone on your journey. I honesty don't think I would be where I am if I had stumbled upon this place.
Again, welcome and get ready to rawk!! :D

It's possible to stay strong and avoid giving in.
Make it a test of willpower instead of seeing it as deprivation.
You can do it, we know you can. You know you can.
