Hi everyone. I live in a basement apartment with very few windows that allow any light in. We have an abundance of interior lighting though. Can I actually grow sprouts? I want to do buckwheat sprouts so I can make Shazzie's "Pizza Pleaser". Thank you for any help you can give me. (I have done a bit of sprouting so far and they do not seem to grow too well as far as I am concerned.

Hi

When they are ready for the light you can use a "Grow Light"

specially made for plants.

I eat my stuff when it is quarter of an inch he he

However the sprouts for my cat I let continually grow

The light works GREAT:D

Okay Yeshia - sounds great! I'll look for one because I know that at the end of the sprouting you are supposed to let some of them get a bit of light. By the way, I was born and raised in Montreal - a long time ago! I think you are from Montreal from what I remember of the posts eh? I lived in the Lakeshore area and Dorval and Lachine and Montreal West, NDG, Snowdon. Miss it very much. Still have family there and also in the Eastern Townships.
Have a great day!
