My Mum has just been diagnosed with colorectal cancer. She will have radiotherapy and chemotherapy. My immediate thought is that she needs to be on a raw food diet of mostly greens and carrot juice. I'm not sure how much sucess I will have, her neighbour keeps bringing her in quiche and she has been eating bacon sandwiches. I told her she should be on at least 90% veggies and she says she is which I know is a load of rubbish. I live a 6 hour drive away but will go and stay whilst she is being treated in January.
What I am looking for are success stories for raw food treatment of cancer does anyone have any links for me. Thanks alot.

Get a copy of the book called "The China Study" by T. Colin Campbell, PhD and Thomas M. Campbell II. It will give you all the information you need to show why a whole foods plant based diet is the only way to go, especially if you have any form of cancer. I am just finishing it up and it is a phenominal book. Hope this helps.

I recommend reading Kiris Carr's story, an incredible spirit she is...she has a documentary, a blog and book on the subject of her healing herself of an "incurable" cancer with living foods.

I am sorry to hear of your Mom's diagnosis. It is very hard especially when you are a distance. You can only suggest what you think is best but understand if she does it her way. My sister has had her breast cancer from 15 years ago come back and I have tried everything to convince her to go raw but sadly she has to follow her own path. My prayers are with you.

Dr. Lorraine Day was the head of surgery at San Francisco General Hospital in the late 60's-70's (during a period of history when few women were the head of anything in the medical community). She healed herself of breast tumor via a raw foods diet. http://www.drday.com/
Also, check out Ann Wigmore, and the Gerson Institute.

George Malkmus founder of Hallelujah Acres was healed lots of years ago from colon cancer, his website also has many testimonies you can search through. www.hacres.com
