No, not even if the "tea" was originally raw, it would not be after putting it in hot water. I do drink organic peppermint tea when I get an upset stomach. I boil the water, put the tea bags in and let the water cool. I drink it at room temperature so that I am not putting really hot water into my body. This is not a "raw" tea, because I have cooked the tea bags. But, it is the safest thing to put in my body, I believe, when I get bad stomach aches. To sweeten the tea, I put either raw honey or stevia in it after it cools. Tea is one of those areas where some do it and some do not. For me, again, it is safer than maalox or tums...so I do it.
