I would like to make some glazed/candied nuts - anybody done this before or have a recipe they'd like to share?

I'd really like to do walnuts in particular, as the fresh crop I'm eating is divine :)

Inspired by the Mesquite Maple nuts by Gone Nuts (http://gonenuts.com/) but would prefer to use a raw product to sweeten (I don't think maple is raw?).

I have made my own version of those nuts. I actually liked mine better. I did post the recipe here before. Let me see if I can find it... Yep. Here's the link:

Thank you! I will look for the mesquite flour at the HFS. I am going to try agave, too.

I did by accident!

Grind some nuts in the food processor (walnuts, macs, almonds, cashews and a handful of pumpkin + sunflower seeds) pour them in a bowl, add a generous serving of agave and mix!

I was considering dehydrating them, but I didn't have the time. They taste fantastic!
