have been invited to a Christmas party this Saturday and I need to bring an appetizer to share. I would like to bring something raw so I have something to eat since I will be the only raw person there. What do you think would be the best recipe to make that will get the SAD eaters pumped?

I like to take mini 'spicy tacos' on a plate - but its a lot of work to create all these little mini tacos on raw corn chips. But the taste is amazing! and it hooks SAD eaters every time! Plus it's so pretty! But if its a big party - i think unless you had a HUGE platter - that would be just a whole lot of work.... what about several types of dips and different kinds of raw crackers?
... here's a photo by rawcutter of his spicy tacos! YUMMM....

I made up some herbed garlicky cashew cheeze stuffed cremini mushrooms at thanksgiving, and they were a HUGE hit! I used a large star tip on my piping gun to make them pretty. The pic and recipe is on my vegan kitchen blog in the November file.

Two things that went over well with my family: Small pieces of onion bread made into sandwiches with Swiss nut cheese, lettuce and tomato. And nacho nut cheese partially dehydrated until thick and packed into baby vegetables or chunks of pepper and celery.

Alissa's Beanless Falafel recipe makes a great dip, as is, not dehydrated....and so does her Cucumber Sauce. I love them served together. Serve with crudites or flax crackers. Yum!

I second the pesto mushrooms. They're always a massive hit with sad-eaters. I think they're guaranteed.
Those tacos look wonderful, can we have your particular recipe??
