Just wondering....I've logged onto both of these. What do ya'll think?
I don't think by the RDA's standards, I will get enough protein, or calcium....ya know??
I guess I'm wasting my time.
Anybody have any success, and what should I concern myself with, and what should I NOT?
I guess I wanted a more scientific approach (percentages and such) to make sure my diet was "BALANCED"....
Thanks....always looking to ya'll for help.

I prefer Nutridiary to FitDay. I think it's a good thing to use from time to time to see how relatively balanced your diet is, but not to use the RDAs. For us those would be different. I felt that it was too much to take on as a daily practice, tho. I did it for a week and felt pretty good about my distributions.
I like Nutridiary, because you can enter a meal and save the meal itself so you don't have to reenter it. That's a huge timesaver!

I usually check fitday just cos its sooo easy..and just the cals I am intrested in
Calcium is easy to meet.. RDA for protein is wayy above what is needed
Nutridiary is very good..but I find it difficult..maybe thats just me

I don't use any of that. I figure I didn't use that when I was getting fewer/less nutrients AND eating less variety... and eating lots of dead stuff. Why would I concern myself now when I'm getting more?

true.....but when I'm not feeling well right now, I thought I could get an idea....maybe help me keep account of what is actually going in, maybe TOO MANY fats, etc.

and yes, I know I should just listen to my body, but right now I feel like it's giving false info...too many cravings etc.
With my thyroid being soooo low, and I'm tired all the time, etc. I'm just looking to keep a better account of what is going in.
