the raw popcorn from pumpkin seeds??

Somebody posted a thread recently about something they'd made that tasted like popcorn - they scraped the seeds out of a pumpkin, marinated it lots of things then dehydrated...I've searched and searched but I can't find the thread. Does anyone have the recipe?

there was also a thread about a powder to roll things in to make them taste fried that I can't find. can anyone help?
