Does anyone know a good Amino Acid supplement? How do I know which one to take? I understand them to be very beneficial in mood therapy. Any suggestions? Thanks:)

The best way to get your amino acids is to eat greens. And fruits and vegetables. I would recommend Victoria Boutenko's book Green for Life. The problem with most supplements is that they are analogs of the actual nutrients you need which means that your body responds to them differently. Your receptors for these nutrients change on a cellular level when you take supplements (analogs) and can actually make it more difficult to derive these nutrients from their natural source. Good luck to you! :)

She talks specifically in her book about green smoothies. While it is true that amino acids are the building blocks of protein, we actually need WAY less protein then the "experts" recommend. When I take a look at Storm or Doug Graham, knowing that they take no supplements and eat only raw vegan foods, there really is no question that raw vegan foods build muscles. :D

From my research we get amino acids from all fruits and vegetables, the amino acids in each fruit and veggies differ, that is why it's important to switch your fruits and veggies to have a well rounded diet.
Spinach is almost a complete protein having all of the essential amino acids but it also has Oxlate which can bind to calcium so it's good to switch up your veggies.
Wheatgrass is great as well.
