I had just read about a request for an all 100 percent raw forum.
Although I am still here and staying with it,my first experience in a rawfood group was a turn off I had with raw. I went to a program and everyone got up(like at AA) and announced what percentage raw they were. It sounded,to me,more like a contest and accolade forum vs a place for support RIGHT WHERE PEOPLE ARE).
Wonder how it might be if the "100 percenters" cut themselves off from the rest of us who heroically stand for our own health amidst the many challenges of rawfood eating.Who would encourage and support and understand and empathize and advise the rest of us.
I am thankful the founders of this amazing energetic way of eating have continued to support and encourage and help others to win.
To me,its all about the other guy winning, not about me winning.BUT if you win,I win..how cool. The greatest happiness in not in receiving but in giving.
What would solely 100 percenters talk about....a new recipe?Theres a forum for that. How we are above the rest because we can do it all the way? icky and sticky.....isnt it cool that we can all be together,no matter what our level of enlightenment or discipline or ease of raw or not,and cause winning!!!! Imagine telling the people what really works for a certainty and how they are succeeding and we can too!!!! All the 100 percenters I am so very proud of you and thank you gratefully for standing by the rest of us in our rawlife.Thankx

I have not read that request but would think that it would go against the main aims of this board which is to support people in their journey.

I haven't seen anything like that recently, but I know there was something about that a few months ago. The only place here you really can't talk about slip-ups is the 30 day challenge. It's not to say people won't have them, they just aren't talked about there.

I hope you'll feel welcome to post here and get the support you need, regardless of your "percent". (I never really got that anyway. Cause if for example, you eat raw for breakfast and lunch and then cooked for dinner, wouldn't that make you 66% raw, not 99%? - See, too confusing for me!:D )

I agree with your post. We are all on individual journeys and we all need one another's support. I wish I could be 100% 100% of the time but I know for me that is not always obtainable and I am fine with that.;) For me I know my health has improved and my life has dramatically changed for the better and I am happy with where I am at. We all have different goals. Some need to be at a 100% level for their health, some are just starting out and are just trying to eating more raw food, some are fine with being 50/50. It is all good as long as the goal is to live a healthy and balanced lifestyle that incorporates eating more raw food. THat is what this site is for to encourage each other along on the path.
