Anyone dry brushing their skin? Have you found any changes since going raw? What about your feet - are they any softer.

I dry brush. Always have :) It is so good for circulation and lymphatic drainage.
With clients, I do a mungbean and tropical fruits bodywrap (all RAW) and I always skin brush before any bodytreatment. Clients love it! ;)

I started dry brushing, and liked it, but then got lazy and quit. I'll have to start back up.
Analeah...you use a natural bristle brush and brush your skin before you shower. You start with the soles of your feet and move up in the direction of your heart: feet, legs, back, stomach, hands, arms, chest last (since that's where your heart is).
Correct me if I got the order wrong...I'm definitely inexperienced in dry brushing. It sloughs off old skin cells and helps cleanse the lymph system. It's supposed to tighten up loose skin too...which I do need a little help with!

That's dry brushing in a nut shell. It is a wonderful thing. I am going for a massage to day and lymphatic draining - I am so excited.
Be blessed in your comings and your goings

Wow that sounds so cool! I would love to try this out. Do I need some kind of special expensive brush or can I use something simple?

I bought my brush at Pier 1 I think. Whole Foods has them too...probably any health food store in the bath section. Look for natural bristle (often they're made from boar's hair). Mine is on a long stick like a back brush, it removes from the long stick, but I leave it on. That makes it great for reaching the back. Also...just like it says, you use the brush dry on dry skin, then jump in the shower.
