How long do I need to dehydrate cranberries in order for them to be fully dried?
I've tried to dehydrate them before. After two days, they didn't even seem to have started to dehydrate, and I gave up. Any suggestions?
Thank you in advance for any advice! :)

I am about to dehydrate some too. I will be cutting them in half or just gently crushing each with a thumb. You need openings for the water to escape from.
Good luck:p

I made dried cranberries a few weeks ago. They were so tasty. I cut them in half which was kind of tedious. And then I put some agave on top and dehydrated for a whole day. YUM!

Since we are already talking about cranberries...I have a question.
Do organic cranberries exist?
I can't find them anywhere...not fresh or frozen.

yep. I've seen organic ones at whole foods... they were delicious.

http://www.ebfarm.com/Products/OrganicDriedFruit.aspx I buy them at local stores in Vancouver BC area. I think they are available everywhere in US and Canada.

Last year I did them whole. They took days. Many days. But they came out really cool. All puffed full of air and crunchy.
If you want them faster, you need to cut them in two or at least pierce some holes in them.
The normal way to dehydrate would be to blanch them first. This helps break down the skin so the dehydration process can penetrate them. You obviously can't do this to keep them raw so you have to break down the skin in some other manner.
