:( I just ordered the Sampson 6 in 1 juicer a couple of days ago (Christmas gift from my mom). I am so worried that I made the wrong choice. I was debating between the Omega 8005 amd the Sampson and chose the Sampson. I have not received it yet. I even read a bunch of reviews on Amazon.com! I wish I would have found this forum before yesterday!!!!
Alright, enough whinning....Here's the question: Should I return the Sampson and order the Omega???

My question for you ~ if you'd have bought the Omega, would you be asking if you should return it and buy the Samson?
Not having had the Omega, I can't compare. Owning the Samson, I think it's a good deal.

I asked because the most current threads pertaining to juicers are raving about the Omega's. Since I have not yet received my juicer I thought that it was not too late.
I have already made the mistake of buying the Jack Lalane juicer. My 100 bucks would have been better spend towards one that would juice wheatgrass too. Who knew!?! Anyway, from what I just read the answer is no.

To yours Revvell!
I decided to give it a try once it arrives. Take the good with the bad.

Most juicers work pretty good. I have a simple Hamilton Beach juicer. It doesnt have the best access to the juice because you need a cup that fits right inside it which is annoying but I still love it.
The only difference to me with juicers is how much juice it removes and how much pulp it leaves. I think the less pulp the better so your getting more of the good stuff but either way.. it still works.
I wouldn't regret your choice. You might end up really loving your juicer :)

I'd love to hear how you like it ~ or don't. I think it's fun to watch and listen to the greens as they get sucked in. I had the Green Star before the Samson. I liked that one. The S is lighter and easier to care for imo.

I also got the Samson 6 in 1 recently. I was trying to figure out which was better, the single or double auger. In the end, the reason I decided on the Samson (single auger) is because I wanted it mainly for wheatgrass. But what really attracted me was that I heard you can get an attachment for it to make sesame and flaxseed oils. I have the exact same manual juicer that is pictured above. I used it for wheatgrass and it did work, but was pretty laborious. I have a Champion that I use mostly for carrot juice etc. I also have a centrifugal Acme that I keep in the bottom of the cupboard.
After a big power black-out here a couple of years ago, I went nuts and ordered all kinds of non-electric appliances so I could still maintain normal life if a black-out happens again. I got a hand food processor, a hand-crank blender, wind-up or battery-run radio-tv, flashlights, sewing machine, washing machine. Yes, I am a little...intense! But I would much sooner have electric.

I've never used either and would like to know how it goes. Is it sturdy. Does it handle froozen fruit and how creamy does it make your smoothies and other blender things. Let us know and what is the cost.
