Hi everyone,
I'm excited about my new journey into raw foods. I've dabbled in them for the past 3 years or so, between having kids, and keep being drawn back to them. I feel so good when I eat raw (even if it's just 75%), and now that I'm on the brink of turning 40, there's never been a better time for me to make a commitment to eating this way. It can be challenging with a husband and two kids to feed who are not into most of the foods I eat. But they're supportive, so it helps.

I'm glad to be here and look forward to sharing my journey and hearing others' experiences.

Have a great weekend!

You really give me answers! How funny!

about that garlic thing: I'm into cleansing right now so first I had a liverflush, then another major flush through my ars... (whats a nicer and correct name of it?) anyway, went to a therapist and did it. There I discovered I had some candida and decided to go for yet another cure.. 8 garlics pressed into 1 liter of water. leave them over night and drink the garlicwater during next day(had the small parts of garlic removed first). Taking some lemonjuice afterwords or together with the garlicwater makes it possible and almost enjoyable. while being on this garlicwater treat I don't eat any sweet fruits or vegetables i.e. dates, apples, carrots and so on. but for ewample avocado, ginger, and immature bananas are fine. this continues for 4 days. the fungi should then be gone or dead. and I even more alive. Tomorrow is my last day. Some challenge avoiding "sweets" A bit low energy sometimes. otherwise just nice!!
